The car had a very intensive restoration with some period additions such as a engine rebuild by Lockstitch Engines and a Bosch fuel system a s well as electronic ignition, telescopic damper conversion, and converted to unleaded fuel, there are bills for over £8500 in parts alone , i dread to think how many hours went into it and the cost of that, during the restoration the body and chassis where striped back to bare metal and treated then completely wax oiled, there is a full photo file of this work, while this was being done the colour was changed from Saffron to the current colour of Red, if I was to find fault on this car the paint could be of a better finish, this can be done by ourselves if you wish at a cost, the interior was completely retrimmed in Tan which was the original trim and is still in outstanding condition. In later life the car has been looked after by TR Bitz in Warrington and has been treated to a service by them only 2000 miles ago as well as having new flat wing mirrors, poly bushes, new radio , Black plenum chamber as well as a complete underside Wax Oyl treatment.
