Way ahead of it’s time when launched back in late in 1989 at the Frankfurt Motor show, this 1995 BMW 8 Series 840Ci V8 represents a rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive history. BMW invested over 1.5 Billion Deutsche Marks developing this iconic model, using CAD tools which at that time was very unusual. The space-age design and luxurious ruched leather interior set the 8 Series apart. Designed as a departure from the 6 Series, the 8 Series was priced accordingly against the competition. This example listed out at a shade over £55,000 when new.

The car was maintained & serviced by Benham BMW June ’95 @ 7,187 miles, June ’96 @ 14,617, May ’97 @ 22,122, September ’98 @ 29,246, November ’99 @ 38,056, June ’01 @ 44,913, then August 2004 @ 55,566. The car was then used very rarely covering just 8,115 miles in 17 years, serviced in November 2021. We will service & MOT prior to sale.
